Which Yoga?

Yoga according to the teachings of Professor Krishnamacharya and his son, Mr. TKV Desikachar.   KYM - Krishnamacharya Yoga Manidram, Chennai, India.

Small classes - 6 Maximum - adapted to suit individual needs and abilities. Safe and gentle. Suitable for adults of all ages. No experience required.

The yoga is very breath orientated and learning to move with the breath so we can stay within our capabilities. The use of yogic pranayama techniques are incorporated and introduced slowly.

You won't be expected to twist or bend into a position and be uncomfortable. Small alterations to a posture means we can get exactly the same benefits without injuries.

Hopefully you will leave with a sense of calmness and clarity whilst having had a nice workout increasing flexibility and strength. Yoga is as much for the mind as it is for the body.
